There are so many things to see and do when visiting Dubai. It simply depends on what type of things you are in to. I thought I would give you some of my Dubai-inspiration. One of my must see/must do, if you want to spend a day relaxing and enjoying the sun, is to visit the beautiful hotel One & Only The Palm, where you have an amazing view overlooking the skyline of Dubai. At the hotel there is a great waterfront restaurant, 101, which is definitely worth a visit. For after-dinner drinks I would recommend taking the boat just outside 101 to the The One & Only Royal Mirage where they have a cozy outdoor lounge, The Jetty.

I would make a reservation for afternoon tea at Skyview Bar at the top floor at Burj Al Arab, overlooking The Palm and The World Islands. Book a 1pm-table as the afternoon tea includes sandwiches, cakes etc. Make sure to book in advance, as this bar is extremely popular.

Mary Foot Spa

Finally, when in Dubai, I always make sure to pay a visit to Mary Foot Spa, getting a manicure/pedicure treatment and massage. Their prices are very reasonable and they are open until 10pm.

Sooo good to be back in the sun! I think it’s crazy how you can build such an amazing city right in the desert. Never the less, I enjoy lying at the beach looking at this view…

Arrived at our hotel late Saturday night. This is the third winter that I visit Dubai in january. Dubai is like no place I’ve ever experienced before – it is so unpredictable and overwhelming with it’s extraordinary architecture, magnificant culture, rough landscape, Arabian markets, camel races and so much more…

I’m almost done packing for my vacation in Dubai. Can’t wait to be reunited with this outstanding, yet somehow unreal place. Looking forward to do some tanning at the beach, enjoying afternoon drinks, swimming in the Arabian Gulf and watching the beautiful sunsets. See you there…
